AVCON Railing Systems helped the Allegro Project in Harrington Park NJ design a custom senior living home railing system tailored to their unique needs. Focused on safety and design, we manufactured and installed exterior “Juliette” window rails, exterior 2 and 3 line site and sidewalk railing, roof fall protection rail, and patio picket railing.

Most of the photos found on the project page are of the Main Atrium Grand Entry Railing and the Grand Staircase. These are a combination of wood top rails, pedestal posts and attached handrail. The vertical pickets are aluminum and painted black. In the Grand Stair, the pickets alternate between straight vertical pickets and pickets with an oval centered in the picket. You will also note a picture of the in house theater. Each row of seats is separated with railing, again wood top and aluminum pickets. The pickets have a square design with an aluminum handrail mounted to the walls.

This special project encompasses several different types of material in the safety railing systems as some materials are more suited than others depending on the use. There is our Structural Tri-polymer, Powder Coated Aluminum, and Wood.
